Hello there, We are glad your here!

First off  we want to know what are your intentions? What are you looking for? What are you looking to achieve?  Is it confidence, agility, strength, focus, self esteem, fitness.... For you or your children?

These are some of the questions we want to know and want you to be clear on. Anyone can offer you the world and have you join their school just to find out that you were not a great fit. We think a better alternative is to address the things you are looking to accomplish first then see where things fit.

Most schools can offer you an okay experience and partially deliver what you are trying to accomplish but we want to deliver to you and your family an exceptional experience and education hopefully for years to come.

In that light I would urge you to check out the video on choosing a martial arts school which will help you make an informed decision.

Mexican Boxing Legend Carlos Palomino In Profile

The US mainstream sports media likes to proclaim certain athletes as good or bad ‘role models’, but they’re almost single minded in their obsession with winning. Great NBA players like John Stockton, or NFL players like Dan Marino are criticized for never having won ‘the big one’.

Boxing Great Alexis Arguello Remembered

Alexis Arguello, one of the greatest boxers to ever compete at 130 pounds, was found dead in his Managua, Nicaragua home in early July of an apparent suicide. He was 57 years old. Arguello was found with a gunshot wound to his chest, but his high political stature in the country meant that an investigation would be forthcoming to verify that it was indeed self inflected. Arguello was the mayor of Nicaraguas capital city at the time of his death.

Carlos Palomino: Mexico’s Welterweight Boxing Legend

Vince Lombardi once said “Winning isn’t everything, its the only thing”. For most of the mainstream sports media, that couldn’t be more true. Countless hours on sports talk radio are spent deriding NBA players like Charles Barkley and NFL players like Dan Marino for never winning a championship. Simply stated, no one remembers the runner up and the mainstream sports media helps reinforce this ‘frontrunner’ mentality.

Boxing Flashback: Manny Pacquiao Vs. Oscar De La Hoya

Fighters seldom grow old gracefully, at least in the competitive sense. The exceptions”Archie Moore, George Foreman, James Toney”are few and far between. More often than not a professional prizefighter goes from being a legitimate contender to the brink of retirement in a matter of minutes. It can happen that suddenly, and most recently Mexican superstar Oscar De La Hoya was the latest victim. He looked utterly lost as a relentless Manny Pacquiao used his speed and workrate to completely frustrate De La Hoya en route to a 8th round TKO victory at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Carlos Palomino: Mexico’s Welterweight Boxing Legend

Its not whether you win or lose, its how you play the game. That may be the oldest sports cliche in the world, but for the mainstream sports media, and the fans that depend on them for their information, its just not true. Its all about whether you win or lose. Turn on any sports talk radio show and youll be subjected to all manner of banal discussion to reinforce my point. Karl Malone and Dan Marino werent truly great because they never won a championship. The Utah Jazz and Buffalo Bills werent great teams because they were unable to take their sports ultimate honor. If teams and players arent being berated for a failure to win, theyre simply forgotten. If you can name the losing team in the past ten NBA championships youve got a disturbing knowledge of meaningless sports trivia.
