Hello there, We
are glad your here!
First
off we want to know what are your intentions? What are you
looking for? What are you looking to achieve? Is it
confidence,
agility, strength, focus, self esteem, fitness.... For you or your
children?
These are some of the
questions we want to know and want you to be clear on. Anyone can offer
you the world and have you join their school just to find out that you
were not a great fit. We think a
better alternative is to address the things you are looking to
accomplish first then see where things fit.
Most
schools can offer you an okay experience and partially deliver what you
are trying to accomplish but we want to deliver to you and your family
an exceptional experience and education hopefully for years to
come.
In that light I would urge you to check out the video on choosing a
martial arts school which will help you make an informed decision.

There
is a lot of information on this site for you to
experience, enjoy and look around, discover something you didn't know.
Everyone experiences it at one time or another. No matter what you do, you can’t seem to shake it. You cannot pick up anything new. Pitchers fall into slumps. Writers get blocked. Unfortunately the plateau seems to be a part of the human experience.
A lot of beginners have trouble maintaining top position in guard. They get swept and wind up flat on their back. But even worse, they have no idea how they got there. “It happened so fast,” they’ll say. But their opponent was working for the sweep for 30 seconds. And everyone else in the gym saw it coming.
There are many different martial arts equipment that are used to efficiently train the martial artist. It is important that this equipment is of a good quality so that there are no unforeseen accidents. It is always advisable to buy reputably named equipment such as Tiger claw, Macho or Century.
If you are a fighter that is preparing for an MMA fight, or a die hard fan, you know how tough this sport can be. It is a brutal and aggressive sport that often ends with someone being knocked out, submitted, or cut and bruised.
Boxing is a sport that can be taken up by anybody, no matter how big or small you are. You do not have to be a really athletic type to do boxing; you will soon get fit with the training. Boxing is also a very good way to learn to defend yourself against others.
Every training session gives you a valuable opportunity to live up to your highest expectations – even if it’s only for a few hours. It’s really a one-of-a-kind chance. Within the walls of the jiu jitsu academies there’s a widespread sense of cooperation and camaraderie that you don’t often find out in the world.
You practice jiu jitsu with extreme concentration. You focus intently on your instructor. You operate at maximum intensity in practice sessions. But somehow you are unable to hold your protective positions, and you lack the strength and stamina to subdue your opponents. This can be very irritating.
Vibration exercise training with the Noblerex K1 Platinum is an easy, efficient, effective, and safe solution for anyone looking to increase muscle, speed, and tone. Whole body vibration is based on space-age technology, used on astronauts in space today, and it’s absolutely creating a new paradigm in exercise. The machine has a motorized platform that vibrates similar to a teeter-totter would while standing on it. The edges move up and down 7-28 times per second and these vibrations transfer to your muscles, training them to produce greater strength. With vibration exercise, studies have shown muscle strength to increase by 50% in just 3 weeks! Not only that, but whole body vibration has been shown to be 10 times more effective than rotational exercise with weights.
Everyone who wants to learn jiu jitsu knows how vital it is to learn quickly. For those of you who have been in training for awhile, you already know you have to progress quickly to survive. You probably already know a few moves like a sweep or a submission, but it is hard to get better because you can’t use these moves on other people in your class. You can grapple for hours on end, but it’s not making you progress quickly enough.
While there are many tips for preserving your guard – don’t let an opponent control your knees, get an angle on you, press your legs down, etc. – there is one that I frequently see beginners not applying properly. Head control is critical in retaining guard.
