Josie Moving To the City

by Nui Kahuna

Bill always worried about his daughter, Josie. She always had that independent streak growing up. The past Thanksgiving, she announced to the family that she would be moving to the big city to work on her acting career.

Josie’s sister reacted. She asked her older sister on how she would be able to keep up with her workout routine. Sparks could have come across the table right after Josie spoke. Josie told her family that she wouldn’t change her workout routine, which meant that she’d be doing her three-mile walks on a daily basis as usual.

Bill resolved that he’d support his daughter, no matter what. So at Christmas time, a few days before Josie planned to leave town, he picked up an extra gift.

On the next family gathering, Bill made a touching speech to Josie. It was when he apologized for all his shortcomings.

Josie reply was emphatic. She knew that her father was just doing his best for her own good.

Bill continued. Although he had been sceptical with Josie’s abrupt decision, he told her that perhaps he could do something that would make the both of them feel better with her move.

Bill took out his present for Josie. It was a magnificent pair of aerobic hand weights that would be suitable for any woman who is engaged in a workout routine. They were also known as Hot Walkers, and were capable of firing pepper spray.

“But these weights keep you alive in another way,” Bill explained. “Let’s say you run into someone who wants to hurt you. Just press this button right here to blast them with pepper spray. They won’t be able to do much of anything for a while, so you can run and get help.”

“I know you want to keep the same kind of independence you’re used to out here in the country,” Bill paused, placing a hand on Josie’s knee. “This lets you stay in control, and it’ll keep me and your sister from worrying about you on those walks.”

Josie sure was thankful to have a dad like Bill around. Soon enough, everyone in the family was in for a warm celebration.

Hello there, We are glad your here!

First off  we want to know what are your intentions? What are you looking for? What are you looking to achieve?  Is it confidence, agility, strength, focus, self esteem, fitness.... For you or your children?

These are some of the questions we want to know and want you to be clear on. Anyone can offer you the world and have you join their school just to find out that you were not a great fit. We think a better alternative is to address the things you are looking to accomplish first then see where things fit.

Most schools can offer you an okay experience and partially deliver what you are trying to accomplish but we want to deliver to you and your family an exceptional experience and education hopefully for years to come.

In that light I would urge you to check out the video on choosing a martial arts school which will help you make an informed decision.
